Favourites books of 2008
I have slipped into that time of the year where I start to reflect on the year that was and the year that is fast approaching.
As I am going through this review time I was thinking about some of the my favourite books I read this year. Each of them blessed me in some way and built something into my life. Here they are…
1. Faith like potatoes (Angus Buchan) – I found this an inspring book. It encouraged me a lot and made me reflect on my life and my life mision with renewed passion.
2. Ordering your private world (Gordon MacDonald) – This book reminded me of the importance of taking personal time alone with God and then moving out into the world from there.
3. When choice matters (Mark Worthing) – This is one written by one of my Bible College lecturers. It talks about Christian ethics and helps us to think through issues biblically and personally.
