Great friends

Had a great weekend just gone. It revolved around spending a lot time with friends and with God.
It started on Friday when some new friends from Merredin - Wayne and Linda - came down to Perth and called in at our place. They called over for morning tea at 10.30am and left at 5.00pm. All day we just talked about God, had the Bible open and prayed. It was an awesome day of getting to know each other just that bit more and just chewing over the things of God.
On Saturday night I went to one of my great mates Steve’s 40th birthday party. It was on a nice semi rural property in the northern suburbs of Perth. It was a time of great food, catching up and just relaxing. I managed to catch up with a few old friends that I haven’t really spoken to for about 12 years. It is amazing how when you have good friends that even though you haven’t seen them for a long time, you can pick up where you left off. It was great to see where their journey with God has taken them.
Life really is a whole lot easier when you have good quality friends around you and especially people you can really connect with. I am truly a blessed man!
