Lines in the sand
I’ve been pondering lately about the times in our lives when we draw lines in the sand. You know when we say from now on this or that. It is usually about making a decision and taking action.
I was thinking about times when I have said that with God. I have drawn a line in the sand and said from now on Lord I am going to do this for You. It is a defining moment in time and there is no turning back from there.
As I look back I can see that each time I have made this sort of commitment before God, that some sort of breakthrough or new opportunity opens up. It seems that when we draw a line in sand for God, He hears and really honors our commitment we have made.
I have done this several times recently and God has really started to open up new things. God is an awesome God and I love Him with all of my heart
